Last day of own planning/ assessment

Make  sure you go through your corrections today. All of the translations are now marked. Go through and make any changes to the grammar, spelling, interference from Swedish or incorrect register.

At the end of the lesson today I want you to do an assessment based on 4 questions:

WHAT
have you done?
HOW
did you go about it?
WHY
did you choose the areas you did?
RESULT?
What have you learnt and how could you improve the effectiveness of your learning strategies?

Next week we will be watching and discussing a film.

Please give suggestions for a suitable film which has a good discussable message.

I would prefer that it is a film which you have access to and could bring along on Monday.

Film suggestions to me on the blog by 9 a.m.

Assessment sent in after the lesson.

Have a good week-end!

  4. I have listened to Ted-talks beacause I felt like we're mostly been practicing our writing skills during this course. I've also done some speaking in grops, listening exercises and a "english level test". The ted-talks simply consisted of topics that I personaly found interesting such as underwater cave discoveries, the negative effects of capitalism and glacier caves. Me and two others worked with the speaking exercises together. I choose mostly speaking and listening exercises because I feel as though we're mostly worked with our reading and writing during this course. I think it went well and it was rather interesting.
